Progress Schools Remote Learning

Our Remote Education package aligns to our in-school, full-time curriculum, and is available for students who are unable to attend school for any reason. Each lesson is taught in real-time allowing students who are learning remotely to feel like they are in the classroom with their teachers and peers. Like in-school, students who are remote learning can book a 1:1 session with their teachers to discuss their learning.

The Head of School will give students an online timetable to follow from home. Remote Learning will be a mixture of online lessons and independent work. Safe and well checks will be completed by the school every day and attendance in online learning will be monitored. Students’ Login details will be issued by their Head of School. They will also be their main contact should they have any issues or concerns about remote learning.

School Curriculum

At Progress Schools our students study the core academic subjects of English, Maths, Science and PE, this is further extended with the study of History, Geography, Expressive & Creative Arts and Information Technology. The Personal Development of our students is also an absolute priority and so we enrich the curriculum further with PSHE, Careers and Work Related Learning and a wide Enrichment Programme, allowing us to widen and deepen student experiences and cultural capital.

Our students at PS Stockport nailed it! Working alongside Mark Taylor from @TechnicalSiteDistribution, our students built this incredible shelter for use for outside of lessons. Mark commented, "The pupils really showed enthusiasm, teamwork and some quite impressive skills. I think nearly all of the pupils engaged at some point or other." What an incredible achievement!

Our students observed #RemembranceDay this year by taking the time to create poems and decorate poppies, honouring those loved and lost. One of our teachers at PS Lilford performed The Last Post before all joining in a minute's silence. #lestweforget ...
